Welcome to Active Dollar Community Sports Hub
This website acts like a big signpost to the sports and activities that can be enjoyed by residents and visitors with the content contributed by the providers.
Most of the sports clubs have their own facilities with programmes guided by a sporting or organising body. You will find links to individual websites giving more information.
The two main activity indoor venues The Hive, Dollar, and the Coronation Hall, Muckhart, advertise their own events and classes.

About Us
Active Dollar Community Hub is a registered Sportscotland Community Sports Hub
The Active Dollar maxim is ‘All Ages and Abilities’. Whatever stage of life you are at, whatever your mobility or challenges you face, you can find at least 3 sports or/and activity to suit.
Expect a welcome if you are a newcomer and enjoy the benefits of increased health and well-being, regular social connection with the shared challenge of improving physical and mental skills.
Where there are barriers Active Dollar stands for change that can make sport and activity as accessible and inclusive as possible. Currently the two main Change Projects are:

Developing the Devon Way Sports Park with a changing and toilet facilities Pavilion that can support programmes for three focus areas: Football, Cycling and Community Events suggested by respondents during a Community Engagement Campaign in 2022

Developing an Active Travel route between Muckhart and Dollar to connect with Clackmannanshire Active Travel routes.
Programmes in the works
As a sportscotland Community Sports Hub Active Dollar has a role of leading projects that improve facilities.
In this role Active Dollar acts as an Action Group within Dollar Community Development Trust. We follow community engagement guidance to ensure that those affected ‘have their say’ in decision-making. The Devon Way Sports Hub (development of a council owned playing field for community use, especially by Dollar Glen Football Club and implementing the Cycling Hub programmes)

Connecting Muckhart and Dollar (an Active Travel project in collaboration with Clackmannanshire Council that will enable safe cycling between Muckhart and Dollar)
